Sending Love- Valentine Cards 2018

Here are some of the cards that I made this year for Valentine's Day. My co-workers and friends really enjoyed giving these to their loved ones. Creating these was fun and easy. These aren't just for Valentine's Day, they are for any time you want to send some love.

Repurposing a tin -Hot Chocolate Treats

I cannot seem to just toss out tins, or packaging because I always feel it can be repurposed somehow. I had a brownie tin that I thought would be useful so I saved it. I am happy with the end results. I covered in it designer paper, stamped out images and punched them out to adhere to the front, wrapped it in ribbon,  filled the inside with delicious beverage delights, and included a little stamped note inside as well. Yay- gift ready!

Pure Sweetness!

This bottle is filled with peanut M&M's and has a cute chalkboard image on the front to display a message to the recipient, which will be customized upon ordering. The topper is a beautiful yellow paper rose which can be swapped out for any color or just a simple cork topper can be added. Take time to smell the roses!

Ah spring is in the air and so will be the delicious smell of roses. This is my paper version of roses so I can have a year round bouquet that never wilts or fades away. I have a new addiction, making paper flowers!!! It's your day... anything goes

This is a perfect gender neutral card that shows off embossing and paper tearing techniques. This would be a nice greeting to receive on your birthday, anniversary, celebrating any accomplishment, or just because!! hope you are able to send some caring thoughts to those closest to you.

At your best FORM!

This card was fun to create because it could be used for any occasion, and it is very feminine. There is some added interest with rhinestones, pearls, ribbon, a button and thread- this card is unique for "only one you". The dress form framelit is very fun to play around with and create all kinds of special and feminine projects. I hope you enjoy this card as much as I do.

A banner masculine greeting

This card uses bitty banners framelits to look like colorful flags flying off a tree- Tree background was created by using the embossing template and a sentiment was stamped off to one side with a whisper white flag for added interest. This is a great masculine card which are sometimes hard to create (with all the flowers power out there).
